Part-Time Phonics Teacher

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Phonics/Diction Teacher who is dedicated to helping our Institution achieve its primary objectives of providing high-quality education and fostering the development of excellent interpersonal skills in our students.

The ideal candidate will assume a significant role in both teaching and assessing students.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Planning, developing, and implementing a comprehensive curriculum aligned with learning objectives.
2. Ensuring the effective execution of daily lesson plans.
3. Delivering detailed instruction on all relevant topics within the subject area.
4. Providing comprehensive lesson notes to aid student understanding.
5. Regularly reviewing and updating students' notes.
6. Conducting in-class practice sessions to reinforce learning.
7. Ensuring the availability of appropriate learning materials and guiding students in their effective utilization.
8. Maintaining accurate academic records for all students.
9. Assigning and evaluating student assignments.
10. Grading tests and assignments promptly and providing constructive feedback.
11. Creating a positive and engaging learning environment to cultivate students' interest.
12. Preparing students for both internal and external examinations and competitions.
13. Fulfilling any additional duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements:

1. NCE Certificate or Bachelor's in Education.
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
3. Possess extensive knowledge of the subject matter and the ability to effectively impart knowledge to students.
4. Proficiency in employing high-quality teaching methods that facilitate seamless learning experiences.
5. Demonstrated strong skills in communication, analysis, and problem-solving, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
6. Ability to work with students of diverse interests and capabilities.
7. Patient and empathetic approach in student interactions.
8. Genuine passion for the teaching profession.
